I wanted to do something fun for a Christmas card this year, not just the usual "picture, merry christmas" etc. So I found some inspiration and this is what I ended up with.
Hope you all have a wonderful celebration of our Savior, full of joy, love and service!
Here is the other card that I sent out to those who I thought might not be interested in reading an entire page of Brewer Family happenings (the typical "family picture...Merry Christmas kinda card). :)

General Conference Packets for my Primary kids
*Update*
I fixed the link to download this from the blog and have added the jpg file for the crayon label. I will no longer be e-mailing out these files. Please read the instructions on how to download the file from here.
I've hosted the file on my husband's server (carbonated labs) so don't get confused when that's what the URL says. :)
Thanks!

So I wanted to put something together for all my primary kids for this coming Conference. I looked all over the internet (got sucked into Pinterest for ideas! Darn that pinterest!!) I found a bunch of cute ideas, but nothing that I was overly fond of. So I copied a few ideas, came up with a few of my own and then made my own packets for the kids. I think they turned out so cute too!
I have a bunch of different sections with activities and then treats for completion of each section.
I made the packages small so that I could do lots of little pages per full page (saves paper!) Now they are small and portable. I made my own little covers for the packets and then covers for the crayons mounted on cute card stock for each kid so they all match. Then I used some of the extra metal rings I had from Ellie's quiet book and put them all together. I had to add some little fabric pieces to each, to add some color (because now they are "scrappy" tee hee hee). And then attached a treat bag at the back with treats for each section.
Some of the sections I included were: Listen carefully - where they have to listen for each of the words during conference), Bingo pieces - that they can cut out and put on the bingo sheet I included, Scripture match-up - where they have to match the scripture to what it's about, armor of god - they have to find which name goes with which piece of armor, name that apostle - match the apostle with his initial, a word search and crossword puzzle and lastly some talk sheets and pictures of all the apostles- so they can cut out each apostle and put it on the talk sheet they want to highlight with notes etc.
Here is the link to the PDF if you'd like to download it. Click HERE.
I saw a few comments that you couldn't download the PDF. I clicked on the link and it opened in a print window. If you click on the print icon and then select "Print to PDF" then you can select where to save it and print it from there. Hopefully that works.
Here is the crayon label. Just click on the image below to open it larger and then drag it to your desktop. or you can right click on it and choose "save target as" and then choose your desktop. Either of those should work.

Newest Client: McKay Manor Musers
So I got a new client a few months ago and she has managed to keep me very busy! This new client happens to be my aunt, but hey- it's a new client anyways. She started a new business with her daughters and has had me do everything from creating her logo to designing website pages and pattern covers etc!
It's been a fun process, but it's hard to make something for three people with totally different tastes who don't know what they want. Let's just say there have been a lot of edits and re-dos. ;)
Here are a few of the items I've created so far.

Business cards

Here are a few different pattern covers that we've done (let's just say, she is indecisive and is having a hard time with just one cover...)
Full page pattern covers
Half-page pattern covers

On Display
I do freelance work for various individuals, but among them is the Home Machine Quilting Show. I put together their ads and other various things. This year they decided to do a billboard, and I got to put it together. It was really exciting to know that something I made would be up and on display on such a large scale! I know it's nothing incredibly fancy- but keep in mind it's a billboard- you have about 5 seconds to catch someone's attention. I am pretty pleased with it and am just excited that thousands of people could see it. So cool!
Although I wasn't able to go up and take pictures- here it is! On the 500 South on ramp in SL!

Baptism Stuff
My niece and nephew are only a month apart. They practically grew up together and it's been really fun to see how much alike they are and while still completely different.
Well, they are "growing up" and got baptized! I'm so excited for them and this decision they have both made. They are going to be wonderful members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I am excited to see the great things they accomplish and watch their testimonies grow.
I got to do a bunch of the stuff for their baptism- their program and a little something to display about each of them. It was a fun project and I'm glad I could help out in a small way.
Here are the story boards I made for each of them.
